Data methodology & editorial standards
Authority is earned. Here's exactly where our numbers come from and the rules we hold ourselves to — so you can trust them, and check them.

Market data
Live prices, charts, heatmaps and the economic calendar on our Markets dashboards are provided by TradingView, which aggregates exchange and data-vendor feeds. Figures are for information only and may be delayed depending on the exchange and asset class.
- Equities & indices — consolidated exchange data; some feeds are delayed 15 minutes unless a real-time exchange subscription applies.
- Crypto — aggregated from major venues (prices shown use liquid pairs such as USDT/USD).
- Economic calendar — scheduled macro releases with consensus forecasts and prior values.
What the dashboards are — and aren't
They are a fast way to read the market and add context to our writing. They are not a trading terminal, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Always verify a price with your broker or exchange before acting on it.
Editorial standards
Every article on TheSchicht follows the same rules:
- Sourced. Claims of fact link to primary sources — regulators, filings, official data — not other blogs.
- Independent. We don't publish pay-for-play. Affiliate or sponsored content, where it exists, is labelled clearly.
- Corrected in the open. Material errors are fixed with a visible note, not silently edited away.
- Plain-language. Jargon gets defined — usually with a link to the glossary.
Not financial advice
TheSchicht publishes general information and education. It is not personalised financial, legal or tax advice, and we are not your adviser. Markets carry risk; past performance is not a guarantee of future results. See our Terms for the full version.
